D.T.R. - Duet "Defines the Relationship"

duet (djuːˈɛt)
n
an action or activity performed by a pair of closely connected individuals

We might just be on the brink of something. Whether it be big or small (probably small), my favorite and only sister and I have decided to take the plunge into the virtual world of blogging.

While Holly is busy raising the two most perfect, precious, adorable boys on planet Earth and revolutionizing Augusta's Relay for Life, I am in Atlanta working in internet marketing living the hi-life (meaning unattached, broke, and trying to figure out what all this is about). Our lives could not be more different, along with our looks (she is a 5"10 blue eyed super model and I'm a mere 5"3 brown eyed megaphone). But as most sisters do, we share so many things in common. Not only being tied into an insanely large Irish/Catholic/Southern/Methodist family (around 20+ cousins), our love for fashion, style, and home decor, and most importantly our passion for the Lord and His plan for us.

The origin of Duet comes from a unique business venture a little over three years ago that started with my sister and I wanting to create our own cocktail rings. After two years of non-stop production Duet Jewelry was put on the back burner for babies and a job that provided healthcare. Hopefully, reuniting on this digital doorstep will encourage a comeback for jewelry as well as providing both of us an outlet for our self-named talents.

So, welcome, join us, come along, make fun, request, and enjoy.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
